Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on freezing the accumulative part of Russian pensions until 2024. Reports about it RIA Novosti. The law establishes in 2024th similar 2014-2023 approaching insurance premiums for compulsory pension insurance.
In early December, such a bill was approved in the State Duma. In a financial and economic justification, the document states that the implementation of the draft law will lead to a decrease in the transfer from the federal budget to the budget of the Russian Pension Fund (FIU) by 772.9 billion rubles.
Accumulative pension frozen since 2014. In other words, deductions to the accumulative part of a pension in the amount of six percent of wages are sent to the insurance part for payments to current pensioners. Initially it was assumed that the frost would be one-time, but from the moment the rule is invariably extended. Previously, citizens could independently decide whether to send money to the formation of savings or transfer to the insurance part, thereby increasing points to calculate the size of the pension.
