Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that Moscow does not want war, but intends to strongly ensure its safety. This is reported by TASS with reference to Lavrov’s interviews TV channel Russia Today.
“We do not want war, President [Russia Vladimir] Putin once again said that we do not need conflicts, and we hope that anyone else’s conflicts are also presented to anyone,” said Russian minister. At the same time, noted that Russia warns “hot heads” in advance, which will want to encroach on the security of the country.
In the same interview, Lavrov said that the first round of negotiations between Russia and the United States on security guarantees starts at the very beginning of 2022. He noted that there is agreement between Washington and Moscow to use three track of the negotiations and called the business reaction of American colleagues.
