The Netherlands received a request from the United States on the extradition of a Russian citizen Denis Dubnikov, detained on suspicion of involvement in cybercrime. This is reported by RT with reference to the press secretary of the prosecutor’s office North Holland Ilze de Heir.
According to the publication, after receiving the request, the prosecutor’s office sent a petition for the appointment of the date of the court session in the Russian case.
November 13 became known that Dubnikov was detained in Amsterdam at the request of Washington due to alleged bonds with cybercriminals. In early November, he was refused to enter Mexico, from where he was sent to Amsterdam, where they were detained. The Russian lawyer called the capture that occurred. In case of confession guilty, Dubnikov in the United States may threate up to 20 years in prison.
