Czech President Milos Zeman called himself a supporter of mandatory vaccination from COVID-19. He supported this initiative in an interview with CNN Prima News.
Czech president said he was one of the few and his views differ from the opinion of the physicians. “For example, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel was adhered to such a point of view, for example, the physicians are at least half opposes the mandatory vaccination against coronavirus. However, we, politicians, often have the views other than their opinions,” he noted. Zeman stressed that mandatory vaccinations from various diseases have long been held in the world.
Earlier it was reported that Zemman refused tobacco and alcohol on the advice of physicians. The 77-year-old politician explained that he listened to the advice of doctors after discharge from the hospital. “I already live without cigarettes and alcohol and, as you can see, still alive,” he said.
