Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makay spoke about the possible overlap of gas transit to Europe. Details of the republic’s response to the EU policies revealed in an interview with RT Arabic.
According to the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Minsk is ready to cooperate with all partners. At the same time, he stressed that the country is also ready to respond to all imposed sanctions against it.
“As for the statements of the President [Alexandra] Lukashenko that we can overlap the supply of gas to the European market, then I want to say that this is just one of the possible answers to those sanctions that West introduced against Belarus,” noted he.
Earlier, Maca said that Belarus considers the opportunity to place nuclear weapons on its territory. According to the minister, the Minsk is ready to go to such a step, if it feels a threat from NATO.
