China began mass production of fifth generation aircraft

Chengdu Aircraft Industrial Group has announced increasing the pace of production of fifth generation aircraft. In the fourth quarter of 2021, the demand for CHENGDU J-20 fighters from the People’s Liberation Army of China (NAK) has grown. It is reported by Military Watch.

The publications say that the fighter entered the phase of mass production. The Chinese manufacturer declared the record supplies of aircraft by the Chinese military. One of the reasons for increasing production rates called the development of the Chinese engine WS-10B.

The new power unit received fighters J-20A and J-20B. Chinese engines replaced Russian power units that used on the first airplane modifications.

In November, the first monument to the fifth generation fighter was installed in China. The prototype of the J-20 aircraft was placed on the CHENGDU AEROSPACE CORPORATION center. The monument turned the prototype, which was used in the tests.

In October, on satellite photographs, a new Chinese fighter of an unknown model was noticed. The aircraft is made according to a false scheme, and its dimensions are comparable to Chinese fifth generation aircraft.
