The price of thousands of cubic meters of gas in Europe on the ICE exchange rose above 1600 dollars. This happened for the first time since the beginning of October.
On Thursday evening, December 16, the cost of the January futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose to the mark of 1602 dollars per thousand cubic meters. According to the beginning of December, more than a quarter of purchased and injected gas were selected from underground repositors of Europe. Since the beginning of December, selection from European storages exceeded the average in these numbers in the entire history of observations by 19 percent.
Earlier, the executive director of the Association of Underground Gas Operators of the Federal Republic of Germany (INES) Sebastian Blashke announced that the level of reserves in germinal gas strangles collapsed to 59 percent.
