Almost half of the Belarusians assesses relations with Russia as fraternal, the survey data of the Ecoom analytical center is evidenced. The data was announced at the National Press Center in Minsk, the correspondent “Renta.ru”.
So, “friendly and fraternal” characterized relations of the two countries 41 percent of respondents.
35.5 percent of respondents believe that Russia and Belarus’s relations are normal and calm, 6.5 percent are called their cool and neutral. 3.7 percent of respondents declared tensions in relations between Moscow and Minsk.
The survey was conducted from November 15 to December 4, 10,127 citizens of Belarus took part in it.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the relations of Belarus and Russia began to develop openly, fundamentally and honest. Lukashenko stressed that it was very happy to develop the events, and called on to preserve “the civilization that existed ancient times and exists today at our common fatherland.”
