In Russia, they proposed to pay the New Year’s retirement to citizens on an ongoing basis. The relevant bill was prepared in the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs and sent to the government, writing “Izvestia”.
The author of the initiative was the head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov. He wrote a bill on behalf of the head of the faction of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The document notes that payments will become commensurate Russian pensions, which he already receives.
Deputies Wanted to make pre-New Year pension payments annual, since the current level of inflation at nine percent is negatively affected by the welfare of Russians. In addition, every year on the eve of holidays people spend a lot of money on gifts close to the tables to the table. Pensioners at this time need additional financial support as a socially vulnerable category of citizens.
“The pension themselves are small, there are no indexing for working retirees, unequal recalculation of non-working pensioners, incomplete indexation of military pensioners. Previously, such a one-time pre-New Year payments to pensioners were already received by Vladimir Putin,” said the nylov deputy.
Parliamentarians believe that the source of additional costs of the federal budget for these payments may be the resources of the National Welfare Fund of Russia (FNB), the volume of which in 2022 will reach 16.4 trillion rubles.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Fair Russia faction in the State Duma, Sergey Mironov, proposed to introduce a New Year’s retirement. He suggested that the initiative would require 654.8 billion rubles per year.
