Belarus will not hold refugees who wish to leave the country and return to their homeland, in Iraq, but the European Union (EU) must participate in the evacuation of migrants. The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko acted as a statement, commenting on the situation with the abolition of the flight from Minsk to Baghdad, BelTA reports.
According to him, the EU promised to allocate additional funding for tickets to illegal migrants, but this did not happen. “Not a single penny came here. The Red Cross is there and others. While feeding and we sing these people,” said Lukashenko and called the EU politicians with bastards.
Belarusian leader also called on the EU to pay for migrants flight from Minsk to Baghdad, which was previously canceled due to problems with financing.
previously became known that the refugees located in the logistics center staged a rally demanding them to skip them into the EU. They rebelled against returning to Iraq and declared the firm intention to get to Germany through Poland. Later it was reported that the exporting flight was canceled. At the same time, in November, Poland suggested covering all the costs of releasing migrants home.
