Latvian Health Minister Daniels Pavluts reported that 70 percent of the adult population were assigned 70 percent of the adult population from Coronavirus.
“Yesterday we reached the goal established in the [Latvian] plan of vaccination, and the EU goals to instill at least 70 percent of the adult,” said Pavluts.
70.28 percent of residents from 12 years have passed the full vaccination, the head of the Ministry of Health explained. “We are approaching the average scope of the entire EU vaccination (70.1 percent), now we have 66.67 percent,” Pavluts added.
Previously, the authorities of Latvia announced that from December 6, all employees in the country, who can contact with other people at work, will be required to tested for the presence of antigens to COVID-19 twice a week, regardless of the fact of vaccination. Eight weeks for these purposes, the state will have to spend 14-15 million euros.
