Head of Evroodiplomia accused Belarusian authorities in migration crisis

The crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border was artificially created by Minsk, and the Belarusian authorities enjoy the situation with migrants. With such an accusation, the Supreme Representative of the European Union (EU) on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel, RIA Novosti reports.

The head of Evroodiplomatia noted that during the Ministerial Meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asia, the EU has reached agreements with Uzbekistan on the termination of flights from Tashkent to Minsk. “Deceived migrants enjoy this flight to get to Belarus, where they were promised that there will be no problems in the transition of the border of Belarus and the European Union,” he indicated.

Earlier, Borrel stated that the help of Belarus from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of almost a billion dollars in the form of SDR (Special Rights of Borrowing) will not be able to cash out in any European Central Bank. The refusal to conduct such an operation will be based on its interpretation as an investment service to the regime of the President of the country of Alexander Lukashenko. Such services, he noted, directly prohibited by the sanctions of the European Union.

The migration crisis on the border of the Belarusian and the European Union began at the end of May. Large groups of illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East began to storm the borders of Lithuania, Poland and Latvia in the hope of getting refuge. It was alleged that Minsk uses his national tour operator “Centerkurort” for migrant moving to the EU borders and earns on it.
