Entrepreneur and philanthropist, the founder of the USM Holding Alisher Usmanov re-elected for the fourth term for the presidency of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) during the election Congress in Lausanne, Switzerland. Usmanov, in the past Sablist, was first elected president in 2008. Before that, he served as President of the Federation of Fencing Russia and the European Fencing Confederation.

In the framework of the election Congress of 2021, delegates elected members of the FIE executive committee, as well as various FIE commissions until 2024.
