In the major cities of Austria, thousands of people came out on the street protest against new restrictive measures related to the spread of COVID-19. People rebelled against the introduction of mandatory vaccination from coronavirus, reports TASS.
According to the Austrian police, almost 40 thousand people protested on the Austria on November 27. Tens of thousands went outside in the city of Graz – it became one of the largest demonstrations in the city since the Second World War. It is known that in a small St. Pelten with a population of 50 thousand people to the streets came out about 3 thousand, the police had to intervene and start detaining demonstrators.
Protests began in Austria after the country’s authorities introduced a national locker from November 22 and promised to begin a mandatory vaccination campaign for all citizens of the country from February 1, 2022.
Previously, the Austrian government also closed entry into the country for all tourists. Restrictions on trips to Austria will be valid until December 3, and then the authorities will again appreciate the epidemiological situation in the country.
