Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture prepared a draft resolution, according to which it is proposed to introduce an additional tool for estimating the border of poverty in the country, which will take into account the level of common inflation, and not a change in the narrow “minimum” set of consumption. As determining the border of the poverty, the department proposes to use the significance of the subsistence minimum in the fourth quarter of 2020 and it is revised quarterly, taking into account the chain consumer price index for the corresponding quarter.
