France President Emmanuel Macron criticized the approach of Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson to solving the issue of illegal migration and called its methods to combat the crisis of non-serious. So the French leader reacted to the public disclosure of the British letter of writing with a plan to solve a migration issue, reports BFM TV.

“I am surprised by such frivolous methods. The leaders of the countries do not communicate with themselves through Twitter or publishing letters …” – said politician, recommending Johnson to enjoy traditional diplomatic channels.

Previously, Boris Johnson offered Macron to combat illegal migration through the strait of La Mans, posing on Twitter the appropriate letter.
