In the spring of 2022 in Russia, they plan to begin government tests of armored vehicles based on the Bomenrang wheel platform. This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the 154th military representation, Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Chikina.
Chikin reported on the tests of armored vehicles on the Bomrang platform during the visit of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Alexey Krivoruchko on the Arzamas Machine-Building Plant. “The car was preliminary tests with a positive result. Currently, prototypes are currently being finalized to present them on government tests that are planned to begin in March – April 2022,” said Lieutenant Colonel.
According to the head of the 154th military representation, the tests are planned to be completed until December 2022.
Earlier in Instagram of the military-industrial company reported that the technique on the “Boomerang” platform will receive the details printed on a 3D printer. This will speed up the process of creating complex elements and reduce the cost of creating prototypes.
