COVID-19: In Guyana, curfew is lifted following decree of epidemic

Five communes including Cayenne and Kourou were always submitted from 22 hours to 5 hours. The overseas department had not experienced free displacement since March 17, 2020.

The Prefect of Guyana, Thierry Queffelec, announced on Thursday, November 25, at the exit of a ministerial crisis cell, the total curfew in the department from 29 November. Five communes, including the Cayenne Prefecture and the Kourou Space City, were still subject to a cover from 22 hours to 5 hours.
