Russia, apparently, passed the peak of the current wave of coronavirus. On Thursday, November 25, announced the Director of the European Bureau of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hans Klagan on the air TV channel “Russia 1”.
According to him, in the western part of the European Region – Germany, Austria, Denmark, Ireland – there is an increase in the incidence of COVID-19, while the countries of the eastern part – Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania – probably already overcame peak values .
At the same time, the clue stressed that the current success in reducing the number of infection cases does not promise success in the future. “Therefore, I would definitely like to ask Russian citizens and continue to adhere to the preventive measures of the government, because we know that preventive measures are working,” the representative of WHO has concluded.
On November 25, WHO also stated that today unknown citizens remain the main distributor of coronavirus in the world. Organizations once again called for people to pass a full cycle of vaccination from COVID-19.
