The relations of Belarus and Russia began to develop openly, principled, honestly. The President of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko, spoke at a meeting with the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, transfers BelTA.
He appreciated the development of relations between Russia and Belarus and noted that now in the interaction of the two countries, “some of the following settings are not felt.”
The head of state stressed that it was very pleased with such development of events, and urged to maintain “the civilization that existed ancient times and exists today at our common fatherland.”
During a meeting with Volodyin, Lukashenko also spoke about his relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, they are in constant contact and plan common actions for the future.
