Lukashenko declared “sea of graves” of migrants on Polish-Belarusian border

A lot of nameless graves of refugees appeared on the Polish-Belarusian border due to the current migration crisis, but Poland’s authorities hide this fact. About this in a conversation with RIA Novosti, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said.

“There are already in the forests of the nameless graves of the sea. And who buries these people? Not the authorities. They, there, there is an extreme situation, they are not allowed there,” he noted.

Lukashenko added that the corpses of migrants that die in Poland are “lying” in the forests. According to him, no-indifferent Poles find the bodies of the dead and bury themselves. “Therefore, here, indeed, the nameless graves,” the Belarusian leader concluded.

Since the beginning of 2021, people began to flow to the border of Belarus with Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The migration crisis in the Belarusian-Polish border was aggravated at the beginning of November 2021, when a large column of migrants approached the cross-border fence near the Beach Point “Brugi”. Migrants have taken several attempts to assign the fence, but they were all stopped by Polish border guards.

Earlier it was reported about the victims of the migration crisis. So, in September, the Polish authorities stated that the bodies of three migrants were found not far from the border with Belorussia, including women. The cause of death is called exhaustion and supercooling. The exact number of those who died at the moment is unknown. From the Polish side also declared the first of the past – the soldier died as a result of an accident associated with a shot from official weapons.
