The head of the US State Department, Anthony Blinken accused the Belarusian authorities in violating international law. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
He also noted that Minsk violates its obligations under the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). “We again call on the Belarusian authorities to stop violence, free all political prisoners,” the US Secretary of State at the opening of the meeting of the OSCE member countries.
According to him, the President of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, must fulfill the demand of the Belarusians “On Free and Fair Elections”. Blinken stressed that such elections will have to go under international control. In addition, he called on Minsk to stop using migrants “as a weapon.”
