Foreign Ministry demanded from NATO Removal Guarantees to Russia’s Borders

Moscow in contacts with the United States and their partners will insist that NATO members do not move to the east, to the borders of Russia, and did not threaten its security. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the quote leads RIA Novosti.

“In the near future, we will make appropriate proposals, we count on their serious consideration on the merits, without excuses and think that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) can play a very useful role here,” the minister said.

He also demanded that Western countries transform “right words” into long-term legal guarantees.
