Linga called Sovkem “Russian Spy” for its proposal to reduce the required number of signatures for the national referendum in Lithuania. Earlier in Lithuania, the chairman of the Socialist People’s Front of Algirdas Palekis was sent for six years of imprisonment on charges of espionage in favor of Russia. According to investigators, he passed the secret data to the Russian external intelligence service.
