Anti-aircraft missile complex (SP) of the air defense (air defense) of the small and supermonal range “Bending-C” is ready for serial production. The new SPC was prepared in the Engineering Designer Bureau (CBM), which is included in the holding “High-precision Complexes” of the State Corporation “Rostech”. The industrial director of the arms cluster, ammunition cluster, ammunition and specialist state corporation Beckhan Ozdoev informed TASS.
“Export-oriented modification of the air defense complex” Bending-S “is fully ready for serial production,” Beckhan Ozdoev said.
General Designer KBM Valery Kashin noted that the complex was tested in 2019.
Plexiba-C SPC became the first Russian self-propelled complex of small and supermon-low range of VSHORAD type (Very Short-Range Air Defense). “Bending-C” can provide protection from airplanes, helicopters, drone and winged rockets that fly at a minimum height. SPK on the chassis of the car “TiGR-M” can use ammunition of portable anti-aircraft missile systems “Needle”, “Needle-C” and “Verba”.
In October, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces General of the Army, Oleg Salyukov, reported on the arms of Russian compounds of the new CRK. He noted that soon the set of a new generation of “Tag” will arrive.
In September, the Director-General of the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Fanil Zimidinov spoke about the modernization of the “Tor” complex. The works are aimed at increasing the combat and operational characteristics of the SPC.
