On the Baikonur cosmodrome, the overall assembly of the space appointment rocket was completed in the “Soyuz-2.1A” carrier rocket and the transport piloted ship “Union MS-20”. Later, the State Commission decided to export on the starting complex of the site No. 31 December 5, 2021.
In the course of pre-scheduled works on December 3, the cosmic head (manned ship under the flap of the fairing) was docked to the third stage of the carrier rocket, after which the motor installation of the emergency rescue system was installed. In the afternoon, this assembly was transferred to the installation unit and docked with a previously assembled “package” from the first and second steps.
At 15:00 MSC, a meeting of the State Commission on the conduct of flight tests of the piloted space complexes on the readiness of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier missile was taken to the removal of the site No. 31 and the beginning of work on preparation for the upcoming launch. Having heard the reports decided to export in the morning of December 5th. The beginning of the work on the transportation of the rocket on the starting line of the site No. 31 is scheduled at 05:30 Moscow time.
At the same time, the crews of the piloted ship “Union MS-20” continue training in the test training center of the site No. 17. In their training schedule – consultations on the space flight program, laying of on-board documentation, practical sessions with photo equipment and preparations for Space flight factors. The main crew of the ship includes: the commander Alexander Misurnkin and the participants of the space flight – President of the Start Tudai Corporation, Yusaka Maesava and his personal assistant Jozo Hirano.
