On eastern upgraded systems for launch of station “Luna-25”

At the starting complex of the Eastern cosmodrome, retrofitting technological systems are carried out to prepare for the launch of the automatic interplanetary station “Luna-25”. The launch of the Russian spacecraft to the natural satellite of the Earth is scheduled in 2022 with the “Soyuz-2” carrier missile.

Eastern space specialists upgraded several systems at once, including: high-pressure thermostatting, automated process control system and air-liquid temperature control system. On the top platforms of the 52-meter mobile service tower, autonomous tests of new equipment installed as part of ensuring the launch of a carrier missile with a spacecraft are held.

Specialists of the starting complex of the Space Center “Eastern” (a branch of the center of operation of the objects of ground-based space infrastructure, is included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”) set up a high-pressure thermostatic system so that the air temperature supplied to the cosmic head is higher than issued System previously. This is necessary to ensure a narrower temperature regime. Autonomous tests of systems and aggregates are planned to be completed until December 6, 2021.

The implementation of the Space Expedition “Luna-25” is an important step in the development of outer space. It will rise to a qualitatively new level in the studies of the moon and under a different angle to look at the prospects for the development of the planets of the solar system, to understand the mechanisms of the planets, the appearance of water and, therefore, life on Earth.
