In the commune of Cherbourg in the north-west of France, a man attacked with a saber on two female policemen. It is reported by France Bleu.
According to the publication, the law enforcement officers were going to arrest the attacker for the hijacking of the car. It is noted that it came out of the car in a ninja costume and kept Katan in his hands – a long Japanese sword. The man wounded one of the women in the chin, and he struck her colleague on his head.
To neutralize the attacker, the third policeman opened fire on it. The attacker was seriously injured. The affected police brought to the hospital where they assisted.
Earlier in November, it was reported that in Norway, an unknown man tried to attack passersby with a knife and attacked a police patrol in Oslo. As a result of the attack, one of the officers was injured. The law enforcement shot in the attacker, because of which he later died. Later it became known that he was a Chechen with citizenship of Russia.
