Britain introduced sanctions against Belarus

The Government of Britain introduced new sanctions against Belarus. This is reported in a statement on the site of the country’s government.

It is noted that the restrictions were introduced in order to bring to justice the regime of the Belarusian President of Alexander Lukashenko for violations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of a person in the country. As part of the sanctions, London froze the assets of Belaruskali enterprises. In addition, the restrictions touched several citizens of the country.

previously it became known that the US Department of Finance also introduced a new package of sanctions against Belarus. It includes 20 individuals, 12 organizations and three aircraft. In particular, measures will be introduced against Dmitry Lukashenko – the Middle Son of the President of Belarus, who leads sports projects.
