At the moment, the relationship between Moscow and NATO countries do not look good, but they could be better. This was stated by the Denmark Ambassador to Russia Carsten Sendergord in an interview with RIA Novosti news agency.
“There are problems in the bilateral relationship, there are constants that we should not forget about and on which you have to work,” the diplomat indicated. He noted that a similar situation is observed in the interaction of the Russian side with most countries of the West.
Sendergord said that at the Summit of the North Atlantic Alliance, which will be held in 2022, a new strategic concept of NATO will be presented. He stressed that Russia will become part of the indicated concept.
Earlier, the official representative of the US Department of State Ned Price commented on the promise of the non-exposure of the NATO composition, which was given by Russia in Washington. According to him, the agreement was not violated, since the Alliance pursues the open door policies. He stressed that the association should have the opportunity to expand.
