Moscow and New Delhi are close to complete the negotiations for the production of the Russian Satellite Light vaccine in India. This was told by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. His words leads TASS.
At the same time, the diplomat did not name the approximate date for the production of the drug in the country. His words sounded at the end of the negotiations with the head of India, subramaniam Jaishankar and Russian-Indian consultations in the format of “2 + 2”, in which the ministers of the defense of the two countries also took part.
In mid-September, the Profile Committee of India approved the final stage of intermediate testing of the Russian vaccine from coronavirus “Satellite Light”. In case of successful completion of tests and approval by the authorities of India, the Satellite Light will become the first one-component vaccine used in the country.
