PFR and Central Bank to teach pensioners to recognize fraudsters

The Bank of Russia and the Pension Fund of Russia (FIU) concluded an agreement on cooperation in the field of financial education. First of all, the Organization decided to send efforts to teach people of the older generation, the reports on the Central Bank website.

Pensioners and people of pre-pre-age in the framework of this agreement will be learning to recognize fraudsters and develop the use skills of digital technologies.

Also, joint projects are designed to raise awareness of citizens about the formation of their pension rights. So that they could learn the amount of their savings, were able to prevent the write-off of social payments to debt and return unreasonably written off funds. The plan for joint actions will develop, taking into account the analysis of the appeals entering the regulator.

Earlier in the FIU recalled that from January 1, retirees will receive “rural surcharge” regardless of the place of residence, if worked out in rural areas 30 years or more. Currently, the pensioner moved to the city of such a surcharge.
