Germany: called EU to recognize rule of national constitutions

The European Union (EU) must recognize the rule of law and primacy of national constitutions. A member of the European Parliament from Germany, Markus Bucket, called for this, his words reports the newspaper Izvestia.

EUROPUTAT spoke out about the situation in Poland, where the Constitutional Court recognized the rule of the National Constitution over European law. “Instead of economic cooperation and trade, Brussels now seriously interferes with national legislation in all areas,” he concluded.

According to Cake, European bodies capture even those policies that are outside their competencies based on existing agreements. He stressed that the disagreements of the association with national constitutions and the Supreme Courts of Member States should certainly have arisen, the question was only in time.

Earlier, the Minister of Justice of Poland Zbignev Zebro proposed in case of exacerbation of the conflict due to the question of the rule of law in the EU, discontinue payments to the association budget and impose a veto on its decisions. According to him, the EU blackmates Poland to achieve reformatting in a “federal state officially managed from Brussels, and in practice – from Berlin.”
