The Norwegian government decided to introduce a ban on the sale of alcohol in public catering due to the deterioration of the situation with the coronavirus pandemic. About it reports The Local.
These measures will affect bars, restaurants and clubs throughout the country. New restrictions will take effect on December 15.
Also, the Norwegian authorities will return restrictions on visiting kindergartens and schools, and high school students and university students go to partial distance learning. In addition, the government asks citizens if possible to work out of the house to reduce pressure on the health system, since the country has an increase in the number of cases of infection with the new Omicron-strain COVID-19.
Previously, the former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko appreciated the possibility of introducing a ban on selling alcohol without QR codes in Russia. In his opinion, such a measure will not bring a special effect.
