Serbia will buy 18 helicopters from Russia

Serbia in 2022-2023 intends to become a regional helicopter force by purchasing equipment from one of the countries of the European Union and 18 helicopters in Russia. This was stated by the President of Serbia Alexander Vucich, reports TASS.

According to politics, the republic will acquire 30 helicopters. Of these, Serbia will buy 11 H-145 manufactured by Airbus, four Mi-35, three Mi-17 plus 11 used Mi-35.

In May, Russia passed the Armed Forces of Serbia a batch of modernized T-72 MS tanks and armored intelligence and pedestal vehicles BRDM-2M Russian production. The transmission ceremony of armored vehicles took place in the Serbian city of Niche in the territory of the 3rd mechanized Brigade of the Land Forces of Serbia.
