The collection of the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics was replenished with a new exhibition object, which became part of a permanent exposure.
From December 14, 2021, a new exhibit can be seen in the Museum of the Cosmonautics in Moscow – the descent apparatus of the piloted ship “Union TMA-12M”, where in 2014, Oleg Artemyev and Alexander Skvortsov, and Alexander Skvortsov, were flights to the international space station. Astronaut NASA Stephen Swanson. The exhibit was transferred to the Museum of the State Corporation “Roskosmos” and the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energia” named after S.P. Queen (enters Roscosmos). You can see it in the “International Space Park” hall.
March 26, 2014 The crew of the ship “Union TMA-12M” started from the Baikonur cosmodrome to the International Space Station. For Oleg Artemyeva, it was the first flight, Alexander Skvortsova – the second, and for Stephen Swanson – the third. During the flight, Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev completed two exits in open space with a total duration of 12 hours 33 minutes. The crew returned to Earth on September 11, 2014. The duration of flight was 169 days 05 hours 05 minutes 37 seconds.
