Scientists from the American Dyluk University reported that global climate warming would noticeably affect the labor market. In the future, people will not be able to work on the street for a long time, the researchers in the article in the Nature Communications magazine.
Specialists predicted that because of the onset of the Hell Heat, people would refuse long-term work on the street. If the temperature on Earth increases more than two degrees Celsius, then economic losses from the decrease in labor productivity will reach 1.6 trillion dollars a year.
The most affected by the warming of climate workers in tropical and subtropical regions – in Asia, in the Middle East, in Africa and in the western Pacific. Many employees in these regions are already experiencing difficulties while working on the street at the heat. With each degree warming, outdoor life will become even more difficult, scientists warned.
In addition, in many countries in summer it will be almost impossible to perform critical agricultural and construction work without harm to workers. India, China, Pakistan and Indonesia, where most citizens work outdoors, will face large economic losses from climate change.
Earlier it was reported that in Russia it became warmer due to climate change. In 2020, the average temperature in the country increased by 3.2 degrees. Winter last year was the warmer norm for five degrees.
