Digital Leaders Awards Awards is awarded Aeroflot Airlines at once in two nominations – “portal solutions” of the “E-Commerce” category, where the project is recognized as the project for the implementation of the direct NDC sales channel, and in the nomination “Social and significant project” in the category “Transfer and Transportation Services” – there was a project on the online sale of subsidized tickets for residents of the Far East.
Creating a direct Sales Channel in Aeroflote according to the IATA New Distribution Capabilities (NDC) standard allowed the airline to expand tickets and additional services. Agents can now connect to Aeroflot along the direct channel, providing its customers an extended aviation product, while distribution costs will be significantly reduced.
The inhabitants of the Far East with the help of the project on the online sale of subsidized tickets on the Aeroflot website can use the functionality for selected groups of passengers, which ensures the verification of the passenger and allows for reservations on tariffs with a reduced value in certain areas.
