German authorities detain the North Stream-2 gas pipeline certification, which is why Europe should expect further growth in gas prices. With such a prediction, the deputy of the European Parliament (EP), German politician from the Alternative Party for Germany, Maximilian Krai in a conversation with Izvestia was made.
According to him, a couple of hours after the price of electricity in Germany jumped to $ 1 for 1 megawatt, FRG Foreign Minister Annala Berbok announced that he did not see the prospects for approving the gas pipeline in the near future. “This is unlikely to be rationally explained, and this will only lead to a further increase in prices for natural gas in the eurozone. It is obvious that our neighbors no longer want to put up with it,” said ERBUTAT.
he explained that the authorities of Austria criticize this approach of the German authorities. Krai is confident that in the future the country of Europe will continue to put pressure on Berlin due to problems with gas prices.
Earlier, the new Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer supported the launch of the project, stating that it ensures the safety of energy supplies to the European Union.
