The average monthly income of the migrant migrant from Central Asia in Russia is 47.1 thousand rubles per month. The federation of migrants in Russia (FMR) and employees of Moscow State University came to this conclusion as a result of the joint study. To do this, they interviewed 4.7 people working in different regions of the country, writes “Russian Gazeta”.
Thus, migrants almost caught up with the income of citizens of Russia, the average accrued salary of which, according to Rosstat, is 54.6 thousand rubles. At the same time, the median salary (half of the workers receive more, and half – less) Russian is equal to 32.4 thousand rubles, if we take into account individual entrepreneurs and private hiring.
Also, migrants told that only 22 percent of them could work on eight hours per day. From eight to ten o’clock there are 27.5 percent, from 10 to 12 – 27 percent, and more than 12 hours – 22.4 percent.
Most Migrants earn in construction and repair – 54 thousand rubles. Next are logistics and warehouses (52 thousand), housing and utilities structures (41 thousand), agriculture (37 thousand). According to the President of the Federation of Migrants of Russia, Vadim Kozhenova, such a distribution is due to the fact that builders or those who are associated with transport are needed higher qualifications, which is why they have the right to claim higher salary.
Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov said that the most salaries grow most in those sectors where many migrants. In turn, a month ago, the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina called one of the reasons for the accelerated increase in food prices in the shortage of workers from abroad.
