Chairman of the Fair Russia faction in the State Duma Sergey Mironov sent to the government to conclude a bill on the 13th pension, which he offers to pay for the New Year. This politician reported in his Telegram channel.
in his assessment, such an initiative will cost the Pension Fund at 654.8 billion rubles per year. It will reduce the supervision among the older generation, since the pensioners do not have to take loans and microcredits on holidays.
The head of the GD faction stressed that pensioners remain the most socially unprotected citizens, therefore the state should provide them with additional payments. If people of old age will receive a special New Year’s retirement, many of them do not have to climb the debt to allow it and interest it.
Mironov is confident that the state has extra hundred billion rubles to pay such funds. “These are the funds that the Ministry of Finance can not be sent to economic and socially important projects. With its tasks, the Pension Fund does not cope, which, with all its external subsidiances, is not able to dispose of hundreds of billions of rubles,” the deputy reminded .
Two months ago, Mironov offered to return the frozen accumulative part of pensions to Russians. In his opinion, the regular extension of the frost introduced in 2014 under the pretext of Western sanctions leads to the fact that inflation turns the accumulation into dust.
Currently, this offer is not discussed. This week, the State Duma adopted a law extending the freezing of the accumulative part of the pension until the end of 2024
