Belarus: began testing modernized “hurricane”

At Osipovichsky Polygon of the 51st Guards Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus tested by the reactive system of salvo flame (RSZO) “Hurrica”. BelTA reports this with reference to the head of the Osipovich Garrison, the Guard of Colonel Alexei Town Hall.

According to the Town Hall, government tests take place on a combat machine 9P140MB and a transport and charging machine 9T452MB from the RSZO “Hurrica”. Upgraded machines are based on MAZ-6317 chassis. New cars replaced outdated ZIL-135LM. RSZO received modern means of communication and automation.

Machines experienced during the march of rough terrain. Also, the calculations conducted the launches of jet shells. The head of the garrison noted that prototypes meet the stated requirements.

Earlier it became known about re-equipment of the 338th Guards Jet Brigade. Sources of the newspaper “Izvestia” in the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that the military will receive the RSZO “Tornado-C” and high-precision ammunition.

In March, the sources in the Defense Ministry of Russia reported that the RSZO “Tornado” will be replaced by Tornado machines with an automated guidance system.
