Russian specialists from the National Scientific Center of Marine Biology have shown that salmon fatty acid substance is effective for treating neuropathy. The opening is reported in a press release on the RHF website.
However, scientists have shown that Sinaptamid, obtained on the basis of fatty acids, facilitates the state of mice, and also stops a disorder of long-term memory, which often accompanies neuropathy. Neuropathic pain occurs due to damage to the nervous system. For example, it is often in people who have lost limbs, phantom pains arise, from which it is difficult to get rid of.
The mice artificially caused neuropathy, and then did the injection of Sinaptamid. As a result, rodents reduced susceptibility to heat and touches, and also improves the ability to memorize objects. They also did not have the degradation of neurons in the hippocampus.
synapamide is similar to the structure on connections that transmit signals between neurons – neurotransmitters. Previously, it is shown that this substance helps restore the cells of the nervous system. This allowed researchers to assume that it is useful for neuropathic pain therapy.
