Currently, almost all launchers of the ground strategic nuclear forces (SIAS) of Russia are more than 95 percent – are in constant readiness for combat use. On Thursday, December 9, said the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, the Russian army continues to rearmament on the rocket complexes “Yar”, and the launchers of the Avangard missile complex are preparing. In addition, Gerasimov added, in the near future, the nuclear nuclear forces of Russia will receive another atomic underwater cruiser, equipped with Bulava ballistic missiles.
“In general, the state of the nuclear triad of Russia ensures the solution of deterrence tasks,” said the head of the General Staff.
At the same time, he stressed that the development of Russian nuclear forces occurs in strict accordance with the agreement on measures to further reduce and restrict strategic offensive arms (STB-3).
Earlier in December, it was reported that in 2022, the Ministry of Defense could hold hypersonic teachings in Russia. It was noted that new weapons and methods of its use can experience in the framework of the Thunder Manevrov, in which the so-called nuclear triad of Russia is also involved.
