Clients of major Market points Ozon and Aliexpress complareed to be late for delivery of orders, write “Vedomosti”. Especially long goods come from abroad and from Siberia. Representatives of online stores explain the delays of high loads due to holidays and snowfall.
According to customers, Ozon began to deliver orders from China to Moscow for more than a month, late for six to seven days. Information about delays confirmed in the Logistics services “PEK EASYWAY” and “SUBLIGHTING”. The representative of “Pack Easyway” said that the lateness was associated with the workload of the transport directions to Siberia and the Far East – they are sent for three to four days later. Over the past month, the number of delivery has increased three times compared with September – October, the director of the service Maxim Gubanov said. The delays usually occur due to unforeseen incidents: traffic jams in the main delivery, vehicle breakdowns, weather and other factors.
In the “savings chimney” also told that over the last month the amount of delivery from abroad increased three times, so it is possible a minor increase in delivery time in certain areas for one to two days. A recent increase in loads is associated with November sales – World Wide Shopping on November 11 and “Black Friday” on November 26. From the beginning of the sale “SberLogistics” processes about 2 million parcels per day, but only 5 percent of them came to customers late, the head of Ozon Rocket Stanislav Kondratyev said. He also pointed to separate force majeure in some areas, for example, due to abnormal snowfall.
Aliexpress Russia stated that goods are delivered within the framework of standard deadlines, but due to sales there are isolated cases due to high load. The representative of Yandex.Dostavka also stressed that the service worked as usual even during the snowfall on December 6-7. He also explained the increased load on the logistics platforms by the fact that “Black Friday” coincided with the Mother’s Day. A representative of another major Markeple Place Wildberries announced the lack of any changes in the delivery.
In November, it became known about the threat of multi-billion losses for Russian marketers. The Association of Internet Trade Companies (Akit) reported that Belarus and Kazakhstan will oblige Russian online stores to pay the tax on the goods they sell on their territory. The total tax burden on marketers can be 7.4 billion rubles. Akit has already complained about the situation of Russia’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustina.
