Available Release Distribution Calculate Linux 22 Developed by the Russian-speaking community built on the basis of Gentoo Linux supporting Continuous update release cycle and optimized for rapid deployment in a corporate environment. In the new version, the possibility of bringing to the current status of non-updated systems has been implemented, the Calculate utility on Python 3 has been transferred and the PipeWire audio server is activated by default.
The following version of the distribution kit is available for download: Calculate Linux Desktop with KDE Desk (CLD), MATE (CLDM), LXQT (CLDL), CINNAMON (CLDC) and XFCE (CLDX and CLDXE), Calculate Directory Server (CDS), Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) and Calculate SCRATCH Server (CSS). All versions of the distribution are distributed as a bootable Live image for X86_64 systems with the possibility of installation on a hard diC or USB drive.
Calculate Linux is compatible with the Gentoo portage, uses the OpenRC initialization system and applies the ROLLING-model of updates. The repository has more than 13 thousand binary packages. Live USB includes both open and proprietary video drivers. Multi-loading and modification of the boot image using Calculate utilities is supported. The system supports working with the Calculate Directory Server domain with centralized authorization in LDAP and storing user profiles on the server. A selection of utilities for configuration, assembly and installation of the system is included in the Calculate specially designed for the Calculate project. A means of creating specialized ISO images adapted to user tasks.
Main changes:
