Roscosmos State Corporation and Promsvyazbank concluded an agreement on the provision of preferential conditions for mortgage loans for astronauts and candidates for astronauts. Cooperation Agreement was signed during the preparation of the launch of the piloted ship “Union of MS-20” on the Baikonur cosmodrome. The signature under the document was set by the First Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of the State Corporation Roscosmos Maxim Ovchinnikov and First Deputy Chairman of the PSB Oleg Minaev.
In accordance with the Agreement, astronauts and cosmonaut candidates will be able to take advantage of the preferential mortgage program from PSB at a rate of 0.1% per annum. Within the framework of the program, you can buy housing on the primary and secondary market. The maximum amount of lending is 12 million rubles for astronauts, 7 million rubles – for candidates for astronauts, the initial contribution is 10% of the loan amount. The loan is granted for a period of 3 to 15 years.
