The driver of the cargo car crushed 17 schoolchildren in the city of Lagos in Nigeria. This is reported by the local Vanguard edition.
According to the publication, the tragedy occurred at the school bus stop, when the children returned from study. The man behind the wheel of the truck tried to hide from the persecution of the police and did not cope with the Office. In addition to the 17 killed many children received serious injuries.
Vanguard writes that after the incident, the driver escaped, but later was detained by law enforcement officers. Frightened eyewitnesses of the incident tried to revenge on their own, the guilty of the accident and burned his truck.
