Thousands of Russians fell into a financial trap

Thousands of Russians who have become customers of the QBF investment company, fell into a financial trap and suffered damage to a total of several billion rubles, it became known “Lente.ru” from the affected novel and Alena (heroes were asked not to mention their names).

According to the victims, they have become customers QBF at the end of last year, concluding a contract and an additional general agreement, the action of which applied to all the structures of the holding, mainly on the investment company “Kyubieff” and Sisterinsky in relation to it “Que-Broker”. According to his conditions, participation in the IPO passed through the purchase of settlement marginal options for shares of companies overlooking American stock exchanges. Calculations on them were made at the time of the sale of the option or a year after its purchase, and the minimum participation threshold was 350 thousand rubles.

In the spring of 2021, customers learned about criminal cases investigated against the heads and owners of QBF on the episodes of fraud, dated 2016. At the same time, the company’s management assured them in the preservation of investments. However, many customers, among whom Roman and Alain could not sell their options and withdraw funds from accounts in QBF.

The appeals to law enforcement agencies did not bring the result, since the defaults of the funds made were still not initiated by a criminal case. The victims evaluate the total losses of 3.5 billion rubles, and their number is about a thousand people. Currently, the QBF has a temporary administration appointed by the Central Bank. The regulator itself argues that it cannot affect the process of returning funds to victims, and emphasizes that those knew about the risks of investments through margible options.

Meanwhile, other QBF clients who have invested through more popular tools, in particular, through brokerage and individual investment accounts (IIS). Among them are the famous ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, according to his own words, lost 1.7 million rubles.
