It is important to remember the negative sides of life in the USSR, which are now silent. So, on charges in the collapse of the USSR, Stanislav Shushkevich answered in an interview with Lente.ru.
According to politics, if you remember only good, then it can be called a supporter of the Soviet Union. “Yes, there is something to regret, and what to sigh,” said politician.
However, he reminded that terrible things were “going to the USSR”. “The country was built on the principles of state terror and all the power structures fought with their own people. Human life cost nothing,” says Shushkevich.
He is confident that these principles are still present in the political systems of many post-Soviet countries and called them the main heritage of the USSR today. “Many post-Soviet leaders seek this, because they don’t know how to edit differently,” said politician.
Earlier in a conversation with “Tape.ru” Shushkevich called “the disintegration of the USSR who clicked on a trigger”
